Cham and Khmer Architecture
This tour combines Vietnam's most noteworthy architectural styles, those of the Cham and the Khmer. The Cham lived in central Vietnam from the 3rd until the 15th century; the Khmer Kingdom of present-day Cambodia occupied the Mekong Delta until the 18th century. Small groups of ethnic Khmer and Cham still live in these areas. Interestingly, the Cham have been greatly influenced by the Khmer. Although this is principally a cultural tour, it includes a lot of other sights as well. And while driving along the coast we will regularly stop for a swim. If you wish, it is possible to extend your tour to the north.
